Photo Ladder

On one of my many pinterest searches, I found this awesome photo ladder created by Kendra over at Sweet_Ambitions. I just knew I had to have one, so my adventure began!!
I went to the wood pile out behind the kiddos clubhouse to search for branches. When I got there I got the crap scared out of me. Mr. Woody the wood chuck was sitting on the pile and jump off.I ran and hid around the corner.LOL!!Big CHICKEN, right. We played peek-a-boo with each other, then I finally went and got my branches.
My wonderful hubby cut the pieces the sizes I needed. The steps are (4)12 in. and the side pieces are (2)4 ft. 8 in. I placed the steps about 10 in. apart. The berry branches I picked up at Hobby Lobby for $1.47 ea. The pictures frames I picked up at Michael's for $1 and painted them with white acrylic paint. I am going to do the same she done and put black and white photos in it.

It turned out a little crocked looking but I love how it looks. To me it looks really natural like that. Well, I hope you enjoyed my creations.

Thanks for stopping by and taking a look and happy crafting!!!!!

It Pay To Be Cheap Contest

This is my entry for the It Pays To Be Cheap contest over at Cheap Crafty Mama

I saw this wreath on Tip Junkie's blog site and thought it was super cute. So here is my version.I already had the felt which was given to me ( $0.00f for that), the hay wreath was purchased at a yard sale for a pack of 10 for $1.00( so $0.10 for that), the wire, holding the stars, was purchased at Michaels on clearance for $0.49 ( probably about $0.05 if that for the wire), and the stars were cut out of white card stock that I purchased for $1.50 for a pack of 50 on clearance at JoAnn's( so $0.03 for that). The patriotic ribbon was given to me ($0.00 for that). So for a grand total of  $ 0.18 I was able to make this lovely wreath. Can not beat that. I also made another one with Pittsburgh Steelers for the hubby for approx. the same price.

Well, thanks for stopping by and checking out my cheap and crafty project. Happy Crafting!!

Happy 4th of July!!!!!!!!!

Happy 4th of July to all my fellow crafters!!

Today is a day for us all to celebrate our wonderful country and freedom. Also, it is a day for us to thank all those awesome service women and men that have helped to continue those freedoms. Furthermore, it is a day for us to pray for those service women and men that have not been able to come home to their families and to pray for those that have and continue to need out prayers. For those that are home continue to relive those awful days and need our support. So I say THANK YOU and GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!!!!!

Now on to my craft for the 4th .....

This idea came from one of my blogs that I follow, Organizing Homelife. I changed it up a little from hers. I cut the squares 2x2 and hot glued instead of pinned. I will have a step by step photo tutorial soon on one that I made for the Pittsburgh Steelers. Well, now onto eating celebrating!!! LOL

Thanks for stopping by and checking out my creation. Happy crafting!!!
